Welcome to Petmento. These terms govern your use of this website (the “Site”). Please read them alongside our Shipping & Returns and Privacy Policy pages. By browsing this Site, you agree to these terms.

1. What this Site is

This Site is a catalog and enquiry point for Petmento’s handcrafted pet-memorial jewellery. It lets you browse designs, learn how each piece is made, and reach us with questions through the Enquire Now form. This Site does not process orders or payments. Every purchase happens through our Etsy shop at petmento.etsy.com, and is governed by Etsy’s own Terms of Use and Buyer Policies, plus our shop’s specific policies as posted on Etsy, in addition to these terms where they apply to your use of this Site itself.

2. Placing an order

When you’re ready to order, you’ll do so directly on Etsy. Etsy handles your payment, order protections, and buyer/seller messaging for that transaction — we don’t receive or store your payment details, and this Site has no login or checkout of its own. Anything you send us through this Site’s Enquire Now form (a question about a design, a request before you order) is a message to us, not an order, and doesn’t create a contract between us until an order is placed and confirmed on Etsy.

3. Two ways a piece is made

Depending on the option you choose when you order, your piece is created one of two ways:

• Artisan-Crafted by Petmento — we craft the piece by hand, incorporating any pet materials you send us, and you review it before it ships.
• Make It Yourself — you receive everything you need and set your pet’s material into the gem yourself, at home, in your own time.

Both are genuine, complete ways to receive a finished Petmento piece — Make It Yourself is not a lesser or discounted version. See our How It Works page for what each path involves, and check the individual design/listing on Etsy for which option(s) are available for that piece.

4. Intellectual property

All designs, product photography, and written content on this Site belong to Petmento (or are used with permission) and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written consent. This includes designs shown in our Gem Designs gallery — each is a real, previously made piece, and its name, photography, and specific undertone/glitter/petal combination are Petmento’s own content.

5. What this Site is and isn’t responsible for

• We’re responsible for the accuracy of the information we publish on this Site (design descriptions, materials, how the process works) to the best of our knowledge at the time it’s published.
• We are not responsible for Etsy’s platform, its checkout process, its payment security, or any issue that arises specifically from Etsy’s systems — those are covered by Etsy’s own policies and support.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, import processing, or postal carriers once your order has shipped (see Shipping & Returns).
• If you send us physical materials (pet hair, fur, ashes, nail clippings, etc.) as part of an order, we handle them with care and respect — see our Shipping & Returns page and Privacy Policy for how that process works and how any related information is handled.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Site or our process changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
